Montessori Center for Teacher Development (MCTD) is part of The Montessori Children’s Academy Family of Schools and Services and has its full accreditation by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) and full affiliation by the American Montessori Society (AMS).

MCTD aims to provide a meaningful learning experience to all Adult Learners and offers opportunities for exploration and active participation throughout the training program. Preparing and empowering Adult Learners to become exceptional, effective Montessori educators while attending to the unique needs of each Adult Learner are the primary goals of MCTD.

We are currently accepting applications for our next cohort, which will begin on June 22, 2026. Adult Learners who are interested in becoming Certified Montessori Early Childhood Teachers may submit a completed application or contact us to obtain further information about our Teacher Education Program or to schedule a tour of the MCTD classroom.

Assistant Teacher Training Program

We are currently accepting applications for our next Assistant Teacher Training Program scheduled for August 3-7. Module I will be held August 3 & 4 and Module II will be held August 4 -7, 2026.
